PORTAGE, MI – A parrot was rescued from a Portage park Tuesday after it had been missing for a month.The parrot's owner learned it was in Lakeview Park after a social media post, the Portage Department of Public Safety said on Facebook.Firefighters went to the park around 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, to rescue the parrot that was sleeping in a tree.The parrot and owner were reunited and the parrot appeared to be in good health, police said.More from MLive:Free car seat safety check and giveaway in Po
