KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Portage Road at I-94 and the southbound Sprinkle Road ramp to westbound I-94 have reopened.The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will continue work on the $87 million project to widen I-94 from Lovers Lane to Sprinkle Road in Kalamazoo County through the winter, weather permitting.Crews are set to continue work to rebuild the westbound lanes of I-94, rebuild two railroad bridges and the I-94 bridge and interchange at Portage Road, and continue installation of noise abatement barriers.
