PORTAGE, MI- Portage Public Schools is searching for a new Board of Education member following the retirement of former Trustee Kurt Droppers.Droppers retired on Feb. 27 after serving two terms over the course of eight years, according to a press release from PPS.'The Board will miss Kurt's unique ability to translate complex financial matters into concepts that were easy to understand,' Board President Randy Van Antwerp said in a press release. 'Kurt made valuable contributions to our Board governance through two successful millage campaigns and the pandemic.
