Don Stoneburner walked into the Portage Lowe's store before his noon shift, not excepting anything out of the ordinary. When Stoneburner walked in to work Tuesday, Sept. 13, he was amazed to see all his friends waiting for him there.His Lowe's coworkers celebrated Stoneburner's 90th birthday with a surprise party Tuesday, at the store at 5108 S Westnedge Ave. in Portage. Since Stoneburner usually comes in 30 minutes before his shift starts, the party was set to begin at 11:30 a.m.The employees decorated the front entrance for the 90th birthday celebration, including balloons to be dropped and rain over Stoneburner as he arrived.
