PORTAGE, Mich — Talk to someone about artificial intelligence and they might get really excited or really scared. Portage Central High School Senior Simar Bhatia falls in the "really excited" category. "I hope to find positive ways that artificial intelligence can be used to help patients, and to find ways that can either diagnose patients easier, or help save lives," Bhatia said. She plans to attend the University of Michigan to study what she described as the intersection of artificial intelligence and health care.
