PORTAGE, MI — The 11th Annual Portage Winter Blast Half Marathon, 10k and 5k presented by Kalamazoo Area Runners and the city of Portage, will lead to a number of road closures this Sunday morning. The three events will commence at 8 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26, with all three starting and ending at Loy Norrix High School, located at 606 E. Kilgore Rd. Periodic road closures in the area will be necessary throughout the day and police officers will be present at all following locations to assist with traffic, according to a news release from the city.
